The firm

Small enough to know you. Formidable enough to win.

We built Whitlock Harrow for clients who want the judgment of a large-firm partner without the leverage model that comes with it. The partner you meet is the partner who does the work.

"Every matter gets a partner's full attention, a clear strategy, and a straight answer about cost."

Our lawyers trained at national firms and in government. Today we bring that experience to a deliberately smaller roster of clients.

FAQ

Before you call.

Straightforward answers to the questions prospective clients ask most.

Is the initial consultation confidential?

Yes. Conversations with prospective clients are treated as confidential, even if we are ultimately not engaged. We'll run a conflict check before discussing details.

How do you structure fees?

We offer fixed fees, capped fees and traditional hourly arrangements depending on the matter. You'll receive a written fee proposal before any work begins.

Do you represent individuals or only companies?

Primarily businesses and their owners and executives. Our Private Client group advises individuals on succession and estate matters.

Which jurisdictions do you practice in?

Our attorneys are admitted in New York, Illinois and several other states, and we regularly coordinate with trusted counsel nationwide.

How quickly can you get involved?

For urgent matters, such as a TRO or a time-sensitive transaction, a partner can typically engage the same day.
